Laurie is a certified Red Seal Chef with 10 year of experience working on the Vancouver restaurant scene in professional kitchens such as Pastis and Lumiere. After completion of her chef's apprenticeship, Laurie's passion for wine called her to enroll in the Sommelier program where she received her certification in 2001. With a seemingly unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Laurie has completed her Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University , and most recently has graduated with her MBA from Simon Fraser University . As a dedicated food and wine lover, the search for mouth-watering wine and food combinations is a passion that drives Laurie forward in the arena of wine enthusiasm and sales.
